The sportsbook opened on Sept. 1, 2019. The sportsbook is located right by the Stadium Sports Bar and Grill, which is right inside the main entrance. The sportsbook has a very large odds screen, similar to the ones you would find in Las Vegas. They also have tons of televisions to follow your bets and five betting terminals. They also have 12 terminals throughout the casino that can be used to place sports bets.

You do have to be 21 to bet in the casino or at the sportsbook. This is a full-service sportsbook, so if you want to bet futures, spread, totals, or parlays, they have it.

One of the big advantages of Ameristar Casino Hotel East Chicago is the live betting option. They allow live betting on almost every big sporting event. So while you are watching the game you can get even more involved with bets on who scores next, or even hedge your bet from earlier in the day.

Promotions

They do not currently have a ton of sports betting promotions, as that is usually reserved for mobile apps. They do have a jackpot drawing. If you hit a jackpot on any of the slot machines you are entered into a drawing for an additional $15,000.

Stadium gaming

For those gamblers who do not like the pressure of playing at a live table, Ameristar offers the largest stadium gaming area in the Chicagoland area. Not only are the limits much lower, but they have huge screens and tons of excitement. They have $5 limits on blackjack, roulette, and baccarat. The area also offers $3 craps.

Baccarat Room

The Baccarat Room was newly remodeled and is located on the fourth floor of the casino. The room ranges in bet size from $10 minimums all the way up to $25,000. There are 21 total games, with 19 of them being baccarat in addition to two brand new pai-gow tile tables. It also has two refreshment stands. If you are looking for something to eat, they have Authentic Noodle and if you are looking for a drink there’s the Smoothie Bar located inside the room.

The tables offer a Dragon Bonus Bet, a side bet that pays depending on how big your margin of victory is. There are also 3 EZ Baccarat tables with no commission taken from the Bankers Bet and Commission Free Baccarat.

Sportsbook

The new sportsbook has been very popular since it opened in September. You can bet on both collegiate and professional sporting events. Ameristar’s sportsbook offers straight bets, parlays, teasers, futures, and more.
